RAVE EICC COMPLIANCE

Rave’s core values include social and environmental responsibility, providing a safe and productive workplace and compliance with all applicable law and regulations. To that end, we voluntarily work to meet the Electronic Industry Code Conduct (EICC) and request and encourage our suppliers to do the same.

RAVE EICC COMPLIANCE 2016
The Rave corporate family strives to conserve energy and reduce waste and has implemented policies to encourage recycling and energy conservation to the extent we are able. To this end, Rave set goals to achieve a 0.5% reduction in energy use and to increase recycling by 5% per reporting period. The company was able to achieve a reduction in energy consumption for the Delray Beach Florida facility in 2015 by 1.30% over 2014 and in 2016 by 4.27% over 2015. The Livermore, California facility had an increase in energy use in 2015 by 33.7% over 2014 due in part to increased employee headcount and production needs. The California facility decreased in energy use in 2016 over 2015 by 35.7%. The overall reduction for the 2 year reporting in energy use was 7.5%, exceeding the goal.  Likewise, efforts to increase recycling were successful. Total recycling increased substantially in 2016 over 2015, by 323%, and 2015 over 2014 by 109% far exceeding our goals.
