• Lead Manufacturing Technician

RAVE, LLC, a leader in commercial applications in the field of photomask repair and cleaning, has an opening for a Lead Manufacturing Technician. The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree or beyond in electronics, technology or applied sciences. Candidates with extensive experience as a Lead Manufacturing Technician will be given consideration regardless of education level. This position requires managing the daily activity of manufacturing personnel as well as working on the manufacturing floor. Some travel will be required. The position will be based in Delray Beach, Florida reporting to the Manufacturing Production Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of in-house assembly and testing for manufacturing of RAVE products:
• Define manufacturing technician’s work schedules to meet production schedules.
• Track and report on real time production progress against production schedules.
• Building and qualify complex sub and system level assemblies:
• Ability to build and debug assembles using electrical/pneumatic schematics and mechanical prints.
• Possess the skill level required to build assemblies with tolerances less than 0.001 inch.
• Document and provide timely feedback to Engineering Department on issues encountered during build processes.
• Organize and track all part inspection and non-conformance issues.
• Responsible for organizing and documenting all manufacturing procedures.
• Support of field service engineering through system level troubleshooting.
• Perform installation of RAVE products at customer sites. Requires international travel.
• Requires occasional evening, off shift and weekend work to meet production schedules.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 7 years experience as a Lead Manufacturing Technician.
• Basic understanding of MRP systems.
• Supervision of manufacturing technicians on the shop floor.
• Testing/trouble shooting of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical assemblies
• Excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of MS-Word, Excel and MS-Project.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Experience in computer assembly, modification and configuring a plus.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry a plus.
• Experience in quality inspection a plus.

Education:

• High School Diploma with Vocational Training or Associates Degree in Electronics, Technology, Applied Science or Manufacturing.
